Signs and symptoms of COVID-19 infection most commonly include: 

  • fever of 100.4 or higher
  • chills
  • stiff joints and/or muscle ache
  • fatigue
  • headache
  • sore throat
  • cough or shortness of breath
  • loss of taste
  • diarrhea (that does not have another cause)

The symptoms of coronavirus may appear 2-14 days after exposure (based on the incubation period of MERS-CoV viruses).

If you feel you have Corona (COVID-19) virus symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath, and have been in close contact with some one who has tested positive for the virus, or a history of travel in the last 14 days. Please DO NOT go to the hospital unless you feel it is an emergency. 

How do I get tested?

KDHE continues to provide testing for all Kansans with no out of pocket fees through March 20th.
