Rebecca Nordyke, Geary County Clerk, announced the following information regarding questions on the ballot for the November 5, 2019 election:
All registered voters in Geary County have the opportunity to vote on a Constitutional Amendment to eliminate the adjustment of the census taken by the United States Census Bureau.
All registered voters in the City of Junction City have the opportunity to vote on extending the current sales tax of 1% which goes to pay off debt-service.
All registered voters in the City of Grandview Plaza have the opportunity to vote on extending the current sales tax of 1% for improving and maintaining public streets and such other governmental purposes as may be in the best interest of the city.
There are two options to obtain a sample ballot showing the candidates and wording of
the questions:
Visit www.voteks.org, click on the middle icon “What is my registration status, polling places and ballot?”, Click on Registration Information, Enter information in required fields, Under Sample Ballots Heading Click on Township or Ward and Precinct, which will appear in color and is underlined.
